About this event

Join us for Infographics in Science Communication! This exciting event is part of the Melbourne Design Week in collaboration with Waurn Ponds Library.

How do infographics help us communicate scientific findings, especially in the complex field of climate science? In this session I will talk about the importance of easy-to-understand infographics in a world of data overload. I will show what kind of infographics work well and what to look for when creating not just stunning visuals, but visuals that tell a story and educate. I will share examples of my work from 'The Ocean Book - How Endangered Are Our Seas' (Green Books, Cambridge 2019) with a focus on climate change.
