Description
This National Science Week please join Indigenous researchers and advisors of the National Environmental Science Program at Questacon in Canberra for a conversation on Indigenous scientific knowledge and practice. Speakers will present approaches to incorporating Indigenous knowledge and values into climate science, biodiversity, threatened species recovery, urban planning, land use and freshwater and marine ecology.
Session 1 will be in the Japan Theatre in the afternoon and welcomes schools and members of the public visiting Questacon. Following the panel discussion there will be a Q&A session. There is also a second session happening in the evening, at 5:45pm for a 6:15pm start - tickets for the evening session available at https://indigsciconvos2.eventbrite.com.au.
