Victoria Cullen

Victoria Cullen is a PHD researcher, intimacy consultant and professional speaker. Victoria is passionate about helping people tackle important topics related to quality of life, such as sexual wellbeing and intimacy. She runs a private practice specialising in sexual re-navigation for people who are managing physiological changes. Her PHD research at RMIT University focuses on designing solutions for sexual challenges after prostate cancer treatment.

Melinda Brooks

Melinda Brooks has worked in wound management for more than 20 years, including the Victorian Adult Burns Unit, community nursing, in research and as a lecturer in wound care at Monash and La Trobe universities. Following her endorsement in 2013, Melinda works predominantly in private practice as a Nurse Practitioner in wound management with a focus on aged care and the community. Melinda has presented at many state and national conferences and enjoys teaching others about holistic wound management.

Denise Burbridge

Denise is an Accredited Practising Dietitian with special interest in nutrition and ageing. Denise is passionate about nutrition playing a key role in clients maintenance or improvement of independence and preventing ill-health. Denise currently works in private practice with clients in the community and has also worked extensively in the residential aged care sector in clinical care, menu planning and food services. Denise's philosophy with food is simple... it must taste good and be eaten, as food not eaten provides no nutritional benefit. Denise supports clients with their complete food journey from understanding their nutrition requirements and how nutrition impacts on their health to accessing and preparing nourishing foods and fluids.

Sarah Sage

Sarah Sage has been a Clinical Nurse Consultant in Wound Management for 10 years. Her current role involves managing a specialist outpatient wound service and coordination of inpatient wound services and pressure injury prevention for Melbourne Health.

Sarah has formal training in wound and lymphoedema management, workplace training and motivational interviewing. She is currently undertaking a masters of advanced nursing practice. Her professional focus is preventable skin injuries during a hospital stay, professional growth of wound CNCs and patient engagement.

Kerry Poole

Kerry Poole, RN, grad cert in advanced clinical nursing practice (continence), Grad dip in critical care Kerry is strongly committed to working in the community helping dispel the myths about incontinence and encouraging people to seek help about their incontinence problems. She has successfully combined her two passions in nursing, of cardiac care and continence promotion, culminating in multiple presentations both nationally and internationally on continence issues in the chronic heart failure population.

Kerry has written and co-produced a health promotion music video receiving an award from the Australian Institute of Medical and Biological Illustration.

Sharon Homberg

Sharon has more than 25 years’ experience in continence management, working with patients living with bladder, bowel and pelvic floor dysfunction. Her aim is to improve the quality of life of people living with continence by managing the condition.

Sharon currently works in a team of five continence nurses and a continence physiotherapist, assisting infant to elderly patients with bladder, bowel and pelvic floor dysfunction.
