About this event

Incredibilia is a magical theatre performance for children which weaves together 20 of Libby Hathorn’s most popular children’s books using music, songs and puppetry.

This immersive stage show follows two intrepid best friends as they embark on an imaginative journey, crossing super-hot deserts, exploring exotic gardens and taking a trip over the moon, all to discover the true meaning of connection.

Adapted for stage by acclaimed theatre-maker, Kim Carpenter (of Theatre of Image) with music by Peter Kennard’s extraordinary one-man band, this heartwarming performance is a celebration of family, friendship, and the comfort of home.

Incredibilia is recommended for children aged 5 to 10 years (School Years K - 4).

School groups receive discounted tickets to weekday performances, a complimentary tour of the State Library, and a free copy of Libby Hathorn’s picture book set in the State Library, The Best Cat the Est Cat. Teachers attending with a school group can book for FREE.
