Inclusive DJ Workshops for Youth - Pasadena Community Centre

Join our 9 Week DJ workshop for young people of all abilities during Terms 6. Ages 15-24. All you need is an interest in music. All welcome.

DJ Workshops for Youth (Ages 14-25)

Join our inclusive DJ workshop for young people of all abilities, being held every Sunday throughout Terms 1, 2, 3 and 4 2026.

Participants will learn and practice essential DJ skills, preparing for live performances both at the community centre and offsite.

Workshop highlights include:

• Introduction to DJing and equipment with safe operating procedures
• Vinyl basics and understanding your audience
• Beatmatching and mixing fundamentals
• Building a DJ set
• Effects and sound manipulation
• Live streaming techniques
• Digital DJing and performance skills

Our facilitator DJ Aaronac is a successful South Australian DJ, with extensive experience working in disability field as well as a qualified trainer; ensuring these sessions are welcoming and accessible to everyone.

Workshops are held Terms 1, 2 and 3 2026 and we offer two sessions

Sundays 10:30am - 12:00pm or 12:30pm-2:00pm

Registration is for the whole Term, dates as follows :

All you need is an interest in music. All welcome. Preference will be given to City of Mitcham residents.

Cost $5 for the entire term. Bookings essential.
