In-store photoshoot for Banyo Village businesses

Banyo Village PrecinctBanyo, QLD
Tuesday, Mar 10 from 8 am to 4:30 pm AEST
Overview

Update your Google Business Profile, website and socials with free professional photos of your business!

Brisbane City Council, with Dee Van Der Merwe from Pixel Punk Photography, is offering Banyo Village businesses the opportunity to boost their brand image with free professional photos taken in their business.

Photoshoots in each participating business will take 20-30 minutes and may include, but not be limited to:

  • storefront/exterior (showcasing presence in the precinct)
  • interior ambience (capturing styling and vibe)
  • individual staff or team photos
  • action/product/service shots (staff serving, customers interacting, products in use)
  • detail shots (branding, signage, hero products, services, menu/food items)

Within 14 days from the photoshoot, you’ll receive a private gallery with a minimum of 20 images of your business. All useable images will be edited and provided to you for your use.

Brisbane City Council will also use the images on the Banyo Village website and socials, and to promote Banyo Village via Council’s channels.

*Limited spots available. Tickets available only to businesses located in Banyo Village. Special requests for editing cannot be accommodated.

Once registrations have closed, participating businesses will be allocated a 30 minute photoshoot timeslot within the day. If your business only opens in the evening, you are welcome to book in if you are prepared to provide access to the store for an allocated photoshoot time between 8am - 4.30pm.

Dee Van De Merwe from Pixel Punk is a Brisbane-based photographer with over 16 years professional experience. Starting in weddings and events, she has since specialised in business and precinct photography with in-house experience at Youfoodz as a food photographer and, more recently, as a self-employed content creator for hospitality, retail, lifestyle and professional services.

Her style is modern, people-focused and commercially effective – delivering vibrant content that brings Brisbane, its people, its businesses and its precincts to life.
