Event description

Description

The Perth Crime Walking Tour will delve into the dark past of the city. Tales of murder will be revealed and historic crime scenes explored.

During this night walking tour of Perth, a guide leads you to scenes of historic murders. Meet at the oldest colonial building in the city, The Old Court House Law Museum under the cloak of darkness and after a welcome from our hosts, set out on foot, following your entertaining guide who plays the ghost of Moondyne Joe, an infamous convict and Western Australian Bushranger who was known for his many prison escapes!

We will venture through dark streets while you listen to true crime stories of Perth's past. With trademark irreverence, black humour and distain for authority Moondyne will expose the darker side of Perth and will place the citys events, people and buildings.

While the subject matter is sinister and the tour is not for the faint of hearted, the tone is lighthearted.

The tour will last around 50 minutes starting at the Old Court House Law Museum and then a walk to sites around the CBD.

Attendees must be over 18 years of age.

Friends of Heritage Perth will receive a 25% discount to your ticket price. Please see our website to find out about becoming a member of the Friends of Heritage Perth.
