Imperfect Stitches: Handmade Patch Guided Workshop

By Pride of the South

Overview

Create a hand-embroidered patch from scratch and discover the joy of messy & expressive stitching.

Forget perfection, this workshop is all about joyful rebellion. Come on a journey with us as we dive into the art of hand-embroidered patches, where crooked stitches, bold colours and chaos aren’t mistake... they’re the whole point. Find your inner DIY punk and make something raw, real, and brilliantly imperfect.

In this guided session, you’ll embroider your own fabulously flawed patch to add to a jacket, vest, tote, or whatever your heart desires. You’re encouraged to break the “rules”, follow your impulses, and let the thread wander wherever it wants.Don’t be afraid to create something that feels like YOU, messy stitches and all!

Come along to hang out, make something rad, laugh at your wonky lines, and leave with a handmade patch that carries your spirit, your pride, and your perfectly-imperfect mark on the world. No expertise needed, no straight lines required, and absolutely no perfectionism allowed.

Snacks and all materials provided. Suitable for beginners to advanced embroiderers. Attendees will have the opportunity to choose between several patch templates, or create their own design if they wish.
