Virtual reality offers students a unique 3D experience and is increasingly being used to develop authentic, simulated learning experiences. This innovative technology tool is currently being used by academic staff to support their teaching across faculties such as Medicine and Arts.
Using the University’s new state-of-the-art immersive learning space, participants attending this session will be given the opportunity to experience virtual reality technology for themselves. Examples demonstrating various use cases will be shared as well as advice and guidance about factors to consider when developing virtual reality learning activities.
