Description

Have you experienced virtual or augmented reality before?

Join Adam Geoghegan from Immersia to learn about the history and use of immersive technology. Discover how virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) work, how they are being used today, and their effects on a local and global stage. Adam will talk about his own VR experience and show examples of current and future VR headsets. The talk will be followed by a Q&A session where you’ll discover how VR experiences are created, where they are used and the ethics surrounding these new technologies.

Immersia is a Perth-based tech startup creating cutting-edge immersive applications for early-adopters of the technology. Founder Adam Geoghegan has delivered workshops and presentations around the globe, and continues to be at the forefront of immersive technology in the Asia-Pacific region.
