Hear from experienced grant writer and IMA’s Assistant Director, Madeleine King, who will provide industry insights and practical advice.

This masterclass is suitable for grant-writing novices, artists, curators, and arts professionals alike, with tailored advice and feedback provided. The two-part session will ensure you get the best insights into your developing applications in time for a range of upcoming funding deadlines, including Arts Queensland Individuals Fund, NAVA Visual Arts Fellowship, Gordon Darling Foundation, and Australia Council among others.
In part one on Tuesday 14 August, 6-9pm learn how to develop and write successful grant applications. Topics include: how to create a budget; how to present strong support material, from letters to documentation; and how to frame your project competitively.
In part two on Tuesday 21 August, 6-9pm workshop your grant proposals from start to finish, with expert input and feedback.
