IKEA (Logan) Business Industry Workplace Visit
We are excited to announce that we have secured a Business Industry Workplace Visit to IKEA Logan (3539-3565 Pacific Hwy, Slacks Creek QLD 4127) in partnership with Janelle Payne (from Springboard Education) on Wednesday 11th March, between 10:00 am and 12:00 pm.
This FREE Binnacle-led Industry Workplace Visit is limited to 25 teachers Only.

What started as a tiny mail-order company in rural Sweden, IKEA has now become a global home furnishing brand that brings affordability, design and comfort to people all over the world. They may have come a long way since their humble beginnings, but their vision remains the same: to create a better everyday life for many people.
Springboard Education Australia provides schools and students with an interactive, hands-on approach to learning through experiencing a real life business in action (i.e. IKEA). Established in 2007 with the purpose of providing engaging resources to teachers of business studies in Queensland, their resources are designed to help students connect theory with reality by studying businesses they interact with in their community.
This will be a Practical-based Industry Workplace Visit therefore we encourage you to wear suitable clothing and footwear so that you are able to actively explore IKEA and various locations within their place of work. Teachers will be afforded the opportunity to ask questions throughout and during a designated Q&A session which will occur at the completion of the session.
At the completion of this event, Binnacle Training will complete your Binnacle Profile entry and we will issue you with a Certificate of Participation for your attendance, therefore enabling you to fulfil your Semester 2 Industry Workplace Visit (i.e HR Requirement) in Part 4 of their Binnacle Profile.
