IIBA Sydney: Facilitation The quintessential skill for BA in present times

Business Analysis is a people centric profession, the soft skills are the hard skills and have never been more important than the present times of virtual, in-person and hybrid work environments. The top three soft skills that employers are look for in BAs are: Communication skills, Interpersonal and consultative skills and Facilitation skills.

According to IIBA report, Facilitation is the most important soft skill that every BAs will need in 2021 and onwards. Effective and inclusive facilitation is quintessential for current times! COVID-19 pandemic has been the greatest source of digital transformation, and many organisations are still scrambling to keep up with the increased rate of digital transformation.
