Ignite Food Program concentrates on the essential pillars of business foundations and product development necessary for running a successful food business. Applications are open now and this information session is your opportunity evaluate and gauge your suitability for the program.

IGNITE is designed for food entrepreneurs who are looking to build on their idea and grow their business and this information session with answer your questions and share more detail on what's included and the experts that will deliver it. Applications are now open!

The Program runs over 6 weeks every Tuesday commencing on 4th August, 2026. Successful applicants must be able to commit to the full program.

During the Program you'll receive a series of 9 workshops delivered (online) by The Business of Food and experts in the topics:

• New Product Development
• Brand Creation
• Food Regulations and Labelling Laws
• Business Planning
• Marketing Strategy
• The Art of Packaging
• Basic Finances for food businesses
• Engaging with Retailers
• Costing and Pricing your food product

There's also a chance to showcase your product and business at the end of the program to an audience of invested business owners in the food industry.

What’s next?

All applications for the IGNITE Food Passions Program will go through an interview and assessment process.

Following the close of applications, you'll receive an invitation to book a 10 minute one-on-one discussion with a coach and mentor.

This will be your last opportunity to share your idea and gauge your suitability for the program.
