Identifying & Responding to DFSV in Central Australia – Extended Course
Consolidate and deepen skills and confidence in strength-based and trauma-informed approaches to working with victim-survivors of DFSV.
This extended course comprises of 7 x 3 hour modules designed to consolidate and deepen skills and confidence in strength-based and trauma-informed approaches to working with victim-survivors of DFSV.
This course is suited for participants who have completed NT RAMF Training and seeking further opportunity to develop their practical skills and knowledge around screening, risk assessment, risk management and safety planning.
Module 1: Trauma-informed approaches to DFSV Screening
Module 2: Strength-based approaches to Mandatory Reporting
Module 3: Immediate Safety Planning in Partnership
Module 4: Approaches to Risk Assessment and Risk Management
Module 5: Documenting disclosures of DFSV and Information Sharing
Module 6: Managing Intersections between Child Protection and DFSV
Module 7: Identifying & Managing DFSV related Vicarious Trauma
