Description

I-MELT will be a meeting place of minds sharing a common conceptualisation that engages students and educator in many diverse ways, contexts and cultural settings. The conference will use the Models of Engaged Learning and Teaching as the conceptual frameworks for our shared conversations.

The MELT family includes the frameworks for:

  • Research Skill Development (RSD and RSD7),
  • Work Skill Development (WSD),
  • Clinical Reflection Skills (CRS),
  • Critical Thinking Skills (CTS),
  • Optimising Problem Solving (OPS) pentagon, and
  • Research Mountain (for children).

I-MELT is supported by the Australian Government, Department of Education and Training through John Willison's National Senior Teaching Fellowship.

Join us for Welcome Drinks on Monday 11 December and continue into the evening on Tuesday 12 for the I-Melt Conference dinner. Registration is essential for both events.

**ALL FULLY BOOKED We have on hold 2 rates of accommodation for 3 nights during the conference period, Sunday 10, Monday 11 and Tuesday 12 December 2017. The Majestic Hotel is located approximately 12 minutes walk from the venue at $555 for 3 nights and Adabco Hotel is located approximately 20 minute walk at $300 for the 3 nights.**
