I have faith in myself but sometimes I need a lil help
A monthly art club @ fitzroy public gallery. It's a workshop and then a visual artist support group after tea - come to either, or both.
What's an artist support group?
It's a place you can come and ask for feedback from other visual artists or find more groupshows/awards to enter or just have someone tell ya a work is finished or get a hot tip on cheap framing or a pleasant pottery group or just sit with feelings of perfectionism.
You can decide what you'd like help with. Even just the accountability to finish a work or book a space for a show. We'll have a projector set up if you feel comfier just bringing in photo's of what you're working on.
Workshop 6:30pm till 7:30pm. Tea and then artist support group till 8:30pm.
Come to one or the other or both. Up to you!
25th Feb - Learn to paint w/ Tess. Materials provided.

Recurring quad-weekly, which is a weird way of saying "every 4 weeks".

Arrive and get settled
We'll do the intro, acknowledgement of country and get settled into the workshop. No attempting to learn everyone's names - just nametags for now!

Workshop: How to paint w/ Tess
We'll be doing a practical acrylic painting class. Materials provided. The goal is to learn some beginner techniques and have a mini-canvas to take home with you afterwards. Tess has been teaching painting classes since I've known them and we've been talking about running(and collecting materials for) this painting class for the last year!

Tea + snacks + meeting new art friends
This would be a good time to arrive if you are just attending the artist support group.
