I Am: A Women’s Empowerment Meditation & Art Workshop
A guided self-love meditation + personalised portrait experience for women, in celebration of International Women’s Day.
If there’s one thing women are experts at, it’s forgetting who they are.
We move through life changing careers, raising families, starting businesses, supporting everyone else, rebuilding after big life shifts.... and somewhere along the way, our sense of self gets quieter.
This workshop is your moment to come back to her.
“I Am” is a deeply nurturing workshop designed to help you reconnect to who you are at your core, not the roles you play, not the expectations, not what others need from you… but the woman underneath.
Through a guided self-love meditation, you’ll be gently led to find a word or mantra that describes who you are.
A word that feels true.
A word that feels yours.
Then, you’ll paint that word onto your own canvas creating a physical reminder of your identity, strength, softness, and story.
After that, you’ll have a professional portrait taken by Rach White Photography, capturing you in a moment of grounded, self-owned clarity.
Your finished image will be gifted to you on International Women’s Day - a reminder of just how incredible you are, even on the days you forget.
This experience is about returning to yourself.
Honouring yourself.
And celebrating the woman you’ve grown into.

📸 Your Facilitators
Jessica Matthews - Mindful Connection Coach
Jessica is a women’s mindful connection coach who helps women rebuild confidence, find their people, and feel comfortable showing up exactly as they are.
After moving cities without knowing a soul, starting a family with no family in the state, spending six years as a stay-at-home mum (including during the world’s longest lockdown), and rebuilding her identity multiple times, she knows the courage it takes for women to reconnect with themselves again.
Her work centres on nervous-system safety, soft confidence, and creating spaces where women feel seen, held, and deeply valued.
Rach White - Photographer (@rachwhitephotography)
Rach is a local family photographer who captures women and families in their most relaxed, genuine moments.
After making a late career change into photography, she knows exactly what it’s like to rebuild a network, start again, and step into a new version of yourself with quiet courage.
Her portraits are warm, honest, and soulful, reflecting the woman in front of her, not a posed version of her.
This collaboration brings together Jessica’s grounding guidance and Rach’s beautiful ability to capture women as they truly are.
❓ FAQs
1. Do I need to be “good” at meditation or art?
Not at all. This workshop isn’t about skill, it’s about feeling. You can be a complete beginner at everything and still get so much from it.
2. What if I don’t know what my word is?
That’s what the guided meditation is for. You’ll be gently supported until your word or mantra emerges naturally.
3. I’m shy / nervous / coming alone — is that okay?
Absolutely. Many women come on their own. This space is intentionally gentle, welcoming, and designed for women who feel anxious or out of practice socially.
4. What will the portrait be like?
Simple, warm, and natural. Rach knows how to make women feel comfortable in front of the camera - no stiff posing, no pressure, just you as you are.
5. What should I bring?
Just yourself. Everything else - the canvas, paints, meditation, and photography - is provided. Wear something you feel comfortable and beautiful in.
