hyp(also known as Hunter Young Professionals) is, at its core, a not-for-profit professional organisation based in the Newcastle and Hunter Valley area.Our Mission: Creating authentic opportunities for young professionals to connect and grow.

Big bangs and hitting the ground running, that’s what you do at the start of the year right?
Wrong – that is so last year! It’s all about headphones and roaming on the spot. Enter VRXP, bringing high-end virtual reality to Watt St and our 2017 Launch.
In true HYP style we are taking you to new places to explore new concepts and meet new people.
This year’s launch won’t be a panel or keynote, rather a fast paced Pecha Kucha; 20 slides @ 20 seconds each. You’ll learn what has impacted the prominent professionals joining us, including well-known Economist, Greg McKinna, and how their industry impacts you!

Tickets are $25 + bf. Includes wine tasting from Ernest Hill, nibbles from Hot Rock and virtual reality sessions. Walk around inside Google Earth or paint your own reality – 4 x VR experiences will be available for you to immerse yourself in.
