HSC Workshop: Health and Movement Science - Part 1

Overview

This workshop will provide you with the knowledge and skills to achieve your best in your HSC assessment tasks & exams.

This workshop breaks down how Australia’s health compares globally, helping you understand real HSC style data on population health, inequities and healthcare systems so you can analyse trends and write stronger, higher mark responses.

What this Workshop will cover:

  • Detailed analysis of vital course content, delivered by one of the most qualified and experienced HSC markers in NSW.
  • HSC marker insights on how to approach various questions found in the exam.
  • A chance to view, and practice, possible exam questions (and be provided with exemplary responses to each question).
  • Tips and strategies on how to approach more difficult questions.

Bring your own lunch, charged device or notepad, and water bottle.

ABOUT THE FACILITATOR:

Shane Hardcastle has been teaching this course for over 22 years, including 15 of these as Head Teacher at a number of schools. He also spent 12 years as a HSC Marker, culminating in his appointment as the Coordinating Senior Marker for Sports Medicine. Shane has been presenting with InspirationED since 2004.


ABOUT THE VENUE:

MARRICKVILLE PAVILION AND LIBRARY is accessible by lift from both the street and ground levels. The venue is accessible for people using wheelchairs and other mobility aids. There is a hearing loop available.
