The act of studying for mathematics examinations is significantly different to all other HSC subjects.
This session, presented by Stuart Palmer, will equip students with a plethora of useful study resources.
It will also empower them to make best use of their time before and during their examinations.
Content and intent of the session:
• How to summarise maths topics
• Examination strategies
• Gaining maximum benefit from the HSC Reference Sheet
• Using past HSC papers and solutions
• HSC questions (2001 to 2023) organised according to key concepts
• HSC questions (2001 to 2022) which are now defunct due to syllabus changes
• Aspects of topics that are new to NSW or different to the previous syllabuses
• The ‘common questions’ in Standard 2 Paper
• Questions worth 4 or 5 marks without parts a, b, c.
