This Year 12 Biology workshop covers Module 7: Infectious Disease & Module 8: Non-Infectious Disease & Disorders. It will provide you with the knowledge and skills to achieve your best in your HSC assessment tasks & exams.

Hear from an experienced HSC Biology marker, covering key syllabus content and skills.. Learn how to address the rubric, construct exemplar responses, and achieve your best in the Trial and Final exams. Participate in interactive activities and get answers to all of your questions on the day.


What this Workshop will cover

• Detailed analysis of vital course content, delivered by one of the most qualified and experienced HSC markers in NSW.

• HSC marker insights on how to approach various questions found in the exam.

• A chance to view, and practice, possible HSC questions (and be provided with exemplary responses to each question).

• Tips and strategies on how to approach more difficult questions.


Bring your fully charged laptop, notes, lunch and water bottle.

About the facilitator

Nikki McDonald

With almost 20 years’ teaching experience across the Independent, Catholic and Government sectors, Nikki is currently a highly qualified Head Teacher of Science. In 2016, she was awarded the Premier's Award for Innovation in Science & Maths Teaching for her work in leading a number of STEM initiatives at Kambala, and in 2017 she was nominated for the Prime Minister's Prize for Excellence in Science Teaching. Nikki joined InspirationED in 2017.

MARRICKVILLE PAVILION AND LIBRARY is accessible by lift from both the street and ground levels. The venue is accessible for people using wheelchairs and other mobility aids. There is a hearing loop available.
