Arriving off the back of their 2018 single "Orchestra", the single showcases a more direct, dreamy sound, which sees the band shed their folk roots for something far more expansive and brooding. Howlite have been busy honing their craft, developing a live set full of sample pads, layered synths and trigger pedals. The result is a show full of lush, immersive vocals, propulsive guitars and trip-hop inspired beats, that recalls bands like Portishead, Slowdive and Daughter. Joined on the night by the heart pounding Lunar Tide, the night is sure to impress. Cactus Room has a large beer garden, spacious and separate bar, and cheap drinks all night. It's also only a short tram trip to and from the City, located at 614 High Street, Thornbury.
