Meet your presenter: Dr Mark Reed

Mark is an experienced researcher, engineer and entrepreneur/founder/startup CEO working in technology companies both in the USA, Europe and Australia for more than 30 years.  He has a PhD in communication engineering from the University of South Australia and research experience both at NICTA/ANU and at UNSW Canberra, where he has built a number of world-first products, publishing more than 100 high impact research papers and supervised more than 10 PhD students.  

He has won a number of industry startup awards for his work.  He was the Founder/CEO of InterfereX Communications that built a number of highly innovative communication products and was acquired by a NYSE listed company in 2018.  He continues to actively mentor founders to overcome challenges in growing their businesses.
