Event description
This workshop explores the early warning signs that a business is heading towards insolvency and the steps to take to avoid failure.

About this Event

Please note: this event is run by the Small Business Development Corporation for small business owners in Western Australia only.

Understanding the early warning signs of business failure can help you identify potential issues early on. More importantly, it also puts you in the best position to manage the situation and keep your business going.

This workshop will explore the early warning signs that are common in most businesses showing signs of insolvency as well as the steps you can take to manage financial difficulties.

This topic covers

  • Common causes of business failure;
  • Warning signs of business insolvency;
  • Strategies and options available to help you manage and avoid financial difficulty.

 This session is for small business owners experiencing or wanting to avoid financial difficulty.

The facilitator for this topic, Accumulate Perth, is a multi-award winning, progressive accounting firm providing a range of essential business services to WA small and medium business clients. Their presenter is highly experienced in managing corporate and personal insolvency.

This session is presented by the SBDC, the only agency in the Western Australian Government dedicated to helping small business. In fact, we've been providing practical support to small business owners for more than 30 years.

Important booking information

You are limited to two tickets per booking (you can of course make more than one booking).

We will be emailing you with important information with instructions and a link on how to join the online workshop and to ensure your device is suitable. Therefore, if you are booking for more than one person, please ensure you provide each person's email address.

To book for larger groups, please contact us on 133 140.

You can cancel your booking up to 24 hours before the workshop starts. Even for free sessions we would appreciate you cancelling if you cannot attend so another small business owner can take your place. For paid sessions, no refunds will be issued within 24 hours of the scheduled start time.

Additional information for online workshop sessions

Please check your computer's suitability for online workshops, including its sound quality, browser, internet bandwidth and speed and video plugins (if required) before the start of the online workshop session. Camera and microphone capabilities are recommended to interact with online workshops.

Our online workshops are run as live, interactive sessions, similar to the format of our face-to-face sessions. For this reason, there is a limited number of tickets per session so our presenters can adequately interact with, and respond to, attendees. Recordings of these live sessions are not available if you do not attend the live event time.
