Workshop for Logan on responding to homelessness for workers in homelessness and housing and workers from other sectors
Whether you're new to the housing and homelessness sector or looking to strengthen your understanding of the local service system, Housing 101 Logan is a practical, interactive workshop designed to build your knowledge, connections and confidence.
Join local housing, homelessness and community organisations for a day of learning, discussion and networking as we explore how the housing system works, who does what, and how we can better support people experiencing or at risk of homelessness.

Tickets: FREE. Due to limited numbers, this event is invitation only for members of the Logan sector . Please reach out to Q Shelter for the code to register. This is targeted at people working outside of homelessness that support people who are impacted by it and newer workers in homelessness and housing. Throughout the session you'll:
- Build your understanding of housing and homelessness in the Logan through interactive discussion and workshopping
- Hear directly from the Department of Housing guest speakers
- Meet local specialist housing and homelessness services and learn about the support they provide, who they work with and how to refer people effectively.
- Ask questions of a panel of local service providers and make valuable connections with others working across the community.
- Discuss and workshop gaps, trends, themes and solutions for Logan
This workshop is ideal for community service workers, health professionals, government staff, neighbourhood and community organisations, and anyone who supports people experiencing housing insecurity or homelessness.
There will be opportunities throughout the day to network with local services, collect information and resources, and build relationships that can support stronger collaboration across the Logan region.
Morning tea and lunch will be provided.
