Hooked on Lakes 2026 - Kids Fishing Clinic

Hooked on Lakes Entrance is a festival showcasing commercial and recreational fishing in the East Gippsland region.

Learn to fish, cast and much more!

*Clinics designed for children aged 6 - 12 years

Event Date: Sunday 8th March 2026

Clinic Times: 11:00am - 4:00pm with 5 sessions throughout the day, each session runs for 45 minutes.

Event Location: Clinics will be at the jetty by the footbridge.

The main Hooked on Lakes event will be just past the playground area. Esplanade, Lakes Entrance. Starting at 11:00am with music from 2:00pm until 8:00pm and featuring the Pierce Brothers along with local talent.

Note: All equipment provided including fishing rod. Each child that participates will receive a free rod after the clinic to take home and continue their fishing adventure!

There will be 12 kids per session.

The Victorian Fisheries Authority collect your personal information in order to register you for our activities, and for reporting purposes.
