Home Harvest - Bush food, fibre and medicine plants
Home Harvest Manningham is a monthly home gardening seminar series that will teach you how to grow your own delicious, fresh food at home.
Come along to learn about the rich history of Australian bush food, fibre and medicine plants - both local, and from further afield. Aunty Jo Russel is a proud Wiradjuri woman, conservation teacher and the creator of the Westmeadows Indigenous and Community Garden - often hosting walks to educate community.
The session will cover how we can connect to and care for Country through these incredible plants - and how they can be integrated into your very own garden!
The seminar begins at 6:30pm, or join us from 6:15pm for our monthly produce swap, where you can bring and trade homegrown produce, cuttings, seeds, gardening magazines, jars, ferments and more!
