As a father to 6 children and a grandfather of two, James knows what it’s like to juggle a healthy family and home life while running a successful business. He’ll be happy to share tips on how you can become a top agent and still have time for the things you love.

YOUR HOME-GROWN HEROES 2019 PRESENTERS

Matt Seabrook

Matt Seabrook

Successful property consultant and director of a leading real estate agency, Matt has demonstrated that success is determined by the importance of systems, running and managing an effective business and team, and building an impenetrable culture.

A true country boy from a farming family, Matt decided to carve his own destiny. With no clue as to what he would do, but with a dream and desire to succeed, Matt found an opportunity at Stuart Weston that would change his life.

Since his leap of faith, Matt has acquired 100% ownership of the Stuart Weston Real Estate office. He has also achieved his goal of writing over a million dollars GCI, all done while WA has experienced the worst 4 years of real estate ever.

Matt will share with you:

  • How to learn to trust yourself and finally take that leap of faith
  • How to face fears and address them in a way that sets you up for success
  • How to ask for help (sooner rather than later)
  • Strategies to keep yourself accountable so that you can reach your goals and continue to push to the next level.

Rick Hockey

Rick Hockey

Working out of Port Headland, Rick is currently the Number 1 Regional Salesperson in Western Australia.

He is also the #1 Salesperson of the year for REIWA 2017/18 and recently ranked 3rd in the Top 10 Salespeople for First National, Australia wide. Rick has sold over $303 million worth of property during his impressive career.

  • Navigating dramatic market changes like the mining boom and fall
  • Ways to bounce back after seeming catastrophic setbacks
  • Using adversity and market shifts to your advantage and succeed where others fail

Adrian Loh

Adrian Loh

Eight years ago, Adrian moved from Singapore to Australia. He had no job lined up and no idea of what his future would hold. He met a real estate agent who sold the rental he was in, and the rest is history. He’s since had an extensive career in real estate working from admin manager through to buyer manager, even having a stint as a successful salesperson in his own right.

Today, Adrian is with Team Seabrook at Stuart Weston where he serves as an agent, Team Manager and Buyer Manager.

A buyer manager? Who looks after buyers? It’s definitely a role that’s mostly absent in our industry. However, as Adrian Loh has proven, a successful buyer manager can allow you to specialize and grow your business. Allow you to earn more income while giving you more time off than you ever thought possible.

Adrian will share:

  • The many benefits of nurturing buyers
  • How a buyer manager can increase profits for your agency
  • Ways to use buyers to generate more leads and listings
  • How to hire an effective buyer manager and implement systems

Clare Seamer

Clare Seamer

Clare has just had her best year in one of the worst real estate markets Mandurah has ever seen.

From humble beginnings in Property Management, Clare quickly made her move to Sales where she discovered her passion for selling property. Clare is now one of the Directors at Harcourts Mandurah, the only WA agency to make it into the Real Estate Business top 50 Sales Offices.

Her motto is ‘A client today is a client for life’ and this is her every day driving force and inspiration. Clare’s high level of repeat and referral business is a testament to the friendly, personal and professional service that she provides.

In her presentation, Clare will reveal:

  • How to get a powerful repeat and referral business through client nurturing
  • Strategies for balancing career and family
  • How to rise to the challenge of being a principal in an agency
  • How training, coaching, and leveraging a team can keep you going to the next level

Ryan Thompson

Ryan Thompson is the founder of Real Estate Brilliance, Auction Services Australia, and the inspiration behind Home-Grown Heroes. Ryan specialises in high-performance coaching and mentoring. He works with sales agents and principals who want to boost sales, create systems, make more money, have more time off, and continue to go to the next level.

He has been involved in over 3,000 real estate transactions and has trained over 1,000 real estate agents and personally coached over 550 including the likes of Vivien Yap, Daniel Gonzalez, James Thompson, Lara Sadowski, Matt Seabrook, and Ben Hatch.

With over 35-years’ experience in sales and marketing and 20-years in real estate as sales champion, auctioneer, and owner of multiple successful real estate offices, Ryan noticed that the big real estate conferences on the east coast were not truly serving Western Australia. They were expensive to attend, required travel, and did not address issues in the decidedly different WA market.

His life’s work to help people reach their full potential and desire to make the real estate industry better inspired him to create this exceptional event by WA agents, for WA agents, and about WA markets.

  • The 7 “High-dollar Productive Activities” every agent needs to focus on to be high performing
  • How to create a never-ending conveyor belt of new listings
  • How to have less days on market than all your competitors by using selling strategies
  • How to close to win 80% of the business
  • The most important ways to get sellers to meet the market

And how to become a real estate entrepreneur!

HOME-GROWN HEROES CHOSEN CHARITY

Charity

Did you know that 1 out of 7 women in Australia are diagnosed with breast cancer every year? That’s over 50 women per day.

Our Home Grown Heroes are supporters of The Annual Pink Ribbon Gala Ball, held in support of breast cancer awareness and research through Momentum For Australia Charity. Our goal is to lower that statistic. That's why a portion of every ticket sale will be donated to the Momentum For Australia Charity.

So, just by attending the Home Grown Heroes, you'll be helping the thousands of women, men and their families who struggle with this disease.
