Home collections care with the new heritage Library of Things

Home collections care with the new heritage Library of Things

Williamstown LibraryMelbourne
Thursday, Apr 23 from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm AEST
Overview

The heritage Library of Things (LoT) collection has expanded, with a focus on tools to help you care for your collections at home!

Come and learn how and why to use new and existing Heritage LoT items.

Cassette collection? Learn how to convert to MP3.

Storing photographs, documents, books, or VHS tapes? Learn how to prolong their life by monitoring light, humidity, and temperature. You can even avoid expensive digitisation services and scan photos, slides, and negatives at home, even without a PC!

Sample items will be available for demonstration. Bring your library card- or photo ID to join the library on the day- if you are hoping to loan an item directly from the session.
