Rachel Syers is an author and freelance journalist. She has enjoyed a varied career in professional journalism for the past 30 years, involving some of Australia and the world’s most talked about people and events.

Rachel is the winner of two Gold Coast media awards and co-founder of the Coral Sea Media company. Sir Bruce Small: From Malvern Star to Mr Gold Coast is her second book. With the belief that everyone has an intriguing story, Rachel hopes to write more books about inspirational people who are ready to share their experiences with the world.
