About this event

  • 1 hour 30 minutes

The foothills suburb of Burnside was once backed by bald hills, kept open and grassy by systematic Aboriginal firing. Following colonization livestock continued to keep them bare, but in recent decades the situation has changed dramatically. The once bald hills are now covered by a growth of woody trees and shrubs, both native and introduced.

In partnership with Burnside Historical Society.
