Wine Australia and the Court of Master Sommeliers Oceania are proud to co-present the ‘History, Evolution and Revolution’ masterclass for sommeliers in Melbourne this March.

Join us for a deep dive into the history, evolution and revolution of Australian wine led by a highly knowledgeable panel of experts: Sebastian Crowther (Real Wines), Leanne Altmann (Trader House) and Kati Vainionpää (Wine Australia).

Taste classic and premium Australian wines including Tahbilk ‘1927 Vines’ Nagambie Lakes Marsanne and Bekkers McLaren Vale Grenache, before delving into the evolution of Australian winemaking.

The session will conclude with a look at the revolution of avant-garde Australian winemaking talent, featuring wines such as Timo Mayer Yarra Valley Cabernet Sauvignon.

This session is free to attend, but bookings are essential and capacity is strictly limited.

This masterclass is open to all sommeliers and beverage professionals aged 18+.
