Join us for a guided walking tour to sketch the charming historical township of Tea Tree Gully.
What to expect
Starting at Gallery 1855, your tour guides will give basic instructions for how to start to capture the historical characteristics of five main sites in the Tea Tree Gully Historical Precinct area.

- Tea Tree Gully Hotel
While you stop to sketch, listen to historical insights about the buildings and get to know its rich history.
- The walking tour will involve walking approximately 2 kilometres on sometimes uneven or steep roads and footpaths.
- Finishing at the gallery you'll get to share your sketches with your fellow artists and reflect on your journey.
- This workshop is suitable for adults, and open to artists of all skill levels.
- Tea and coffee provided,
- Bookings essential.
What to bring
- A sketch book small enough to carry
- Basic sketching supplies: 2B pencil, ink pen
- Any additional art supplies or a camera if preferred
- A water bottle
- A hat and other sun protection
