For those of you who have basic knowledge of tools and how to use them, this workshop will help you tackle more complicated building jobs around the house. You will take a look at the various building projects around Hidden Valley such as the windbreak fence, garden fence, woodsheds, greenhouse, outdoor kitchen, adirondack chairs and the play set. With a real life example, Bonnie will show you how to plan your project by breaking it up into steps which will fit into your weekends, allowing you to be well organised with time, tools and the materials needed for each part of the larger project. Bonnie will show you a picnic table she has built, provide plans for how to build it and answer any questions you might have on how to tackle your own projects at home. Finally, you will get on the tools and practise cutting accurate angles with a drop saw as well as notching with a circular saw for stronger joins.
