Tuesday, Apr 7 from 10 am to 12 pm AEST
Overview

New to caring or been in a caring role for years? This workshop offers practical tools and system know-how to help make things easier.

2–hour, free workshop for mental health carers.

Every caring journey is different. Maybe you stepped into this role suddenly, or maybe it changed over time. Things might feel stable right now, or you could be facing new challenges. Wherever you are in your journey, this workshop will give you practical tools to make things easier.

You’ll walk away with:

  • a clear understanding of how the carer role changes over time
  • understanding the lingo
  • a portable summary–details and information about you and your person to keep handy
  • safety and emergency plan
  • a stay-well committee for the carer
  • information, resources and supports.

Join us to feel more confident, prepared and supported—no matter where you’re at in your caring role.

This session is designed specifically for family members, kin, young carers, friends and other individuals who support someone experiencing mental ill-health. We are a Queensland-based service.
