Frequently asked questions

Parking and Metro

Free onsite parking. We are located a five minute walk from Norwest metro station.

Can I attend if my child is seeing a Psychologist?

Yes of course, the workshop will complement the work done by a Psychologist who is seeing your child and teaching them cognitive-behavioural therapy techniques - the gold standard in child anxiety treatment.

Refunds

Can't make it? No problem, refunds can be requested until up to 7 days prior

Should both parents attend?

It can be super for both parents to have time to learn information together. As a parent myself I totally understand that it's not always possible for both parents to attend together. Handouts and worksheets will help you share the information.

I'm not sure my child has anxiety

No problem. Workshops have a mix of parents and carers who already know their child's diagnosis, and those just looking for help. I would expect that you would know by the end of the workshop whether your child meets anxiety criterias - as well as how to help them

My child is Autistic and has anxiety too.

Many parents attend whose children are Autistic, or who have a physical or mental health condition. Dr Mullin will adapt the workshop to meet the needs of all attendees where possible. The small group format is designed to allow this.
