Join us for a workshop to gain the resources and skills to communicate within multidisciplinary teams, to ensure relevancy of healthy food in the planning of built environments. Practical case studies featuring the Perth City Farm and local government will be featured as part of the program including a short tour of the adjoining Perth City Farm.

Hear from speakers from Heart Foundation (WA), ECU, Local Government and the Private Sector about the emerging evidence needed to advocate for change and future strategies for policy responses to support availability to and access of Healthy Food.

Who would benefit from the workshop?

The primary focus of workshop content is on policy development and assessment within the built environment in the State, Local Government and Non for Profit sectors. Practitioners drawn from these sectors will be given the opportunity to gain pratical skills to ensure relevancy of healthy food in the planning of built environments.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Accessible via adjacent train (Claisebrook Station) and Yellow City Cat Bus Route (Claisebrook Stop) with an easy walk to North Metro TAFE (East Perth). Limited paid parking available at CPP Royal Street Carpark.
