The Postgraduate Students Working Group (PGSWG) of the University of Sydney Cancer Research Network (CRN) is excited to announce our 15th annual student symposium. This year’s symposium focuses on the theme of interdisciplinary partnership and careers, celebrating the diverse array of research and collaboration that is pivotal in our attempts to better understand, diagnose, and treat cancer. We have numerous sessions to celebrate and share the amazing work done by our students as well as exciting keynote presentations by Dr Inês da Silva and A/Prof. James Wilmott, and a workshop chaired by Prof. Andrew Baillie on the significance of interdisciplinary partnerships and careers in cancer research. Breakfast with registration, morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea, with vegetarian and gluten-free options are provided free for all delegates.
At the end of the symposium, we also have a relaxing, casual Networking Session from 4:30-6pm with drinks and snacks where you can get to know our HDR students and Early Career Researchers. Don't miss out this networking opportunity to expand your networks!
