Join us for our special annual Haro Wine Dinner ! Ten lucky Spanish enthusists will join our sommelier, Antony Anderson (WSET4), for a delightful evening of exploring the flavours of Spanish food and wine from Yecla and Rioja over a perfectly matched 4-course dinner.
The Haro Wine Festival is a summer festival in the town of Haro, La Rioja, Spain and features the Batalla de Vino - a literal wine battle that started way back in the 13th century, when the Haro had to officially mark the property lines between them and their neighbours in Miranda de Ebro. But rather than throw wine, we'll be drinking it!

Starter: A Taste of Spain - white anchovy, sundried tomato, parmesan wafer, Serrano Jamon

Main: 12-hour slow-braised pork with chorizo, spanish rice
Matched to a glass of 2019 Macabeo (Yecla, 130ml)
Cheese: 12 month Manchego & crackers
Matched to a glass of 2019 Rioja Reserva (Rioja, 130ml)
Dessert: Creme Catalana, Roasted Strawberries

The menu is gluten free and coeliac-safe. If you have other dietary requirements, please SMS us on 0416 088 000 a minimum of 24 hours before the event so we can accommodate your needs.
This private dinners is restricted in numbers due to the limitations of our tiny three-square-meter kitchen and the seating availability in our venue. We like to keep our events small to ensure they are more personal and enjoyable.
Life's Too Short is located in the middle of the Tribeca Plaza near the IGA, at the intersection of Wellington St and 412 Victoria Parade, or enter from 166 Albert St (past Kellee Flowers).
By tram 12 or 109, stop 16 - Wellington St (2 minute walk). By train the closes stations are Jolimont (13 minute walk) or North Richmond (10 minute walk)
If you drive and/or have a designated driver, parking is available on the street or at Care Park at 162 Albert Street, East Melbourne. Free parking may be available at 3 Cambridge Street, Collingwood (the car park is between owners and not gated; please check the signs before parking)
If the total tickets (7) is not sold, the event may be rescheduled later or cancelled and tickets refunded. If you have booked a ticket and an event is amended we will contact you to make arrangements before the event.
