Harmony Week: Around the World Fair- Many Cultures, One Community (for all)
Celebrate Harmony Week and cultural diversity with a fun, family-friendly event at the Library!
Building on the success of last year’s event, this interactive program invites children and families to come together to explore, learn, and celebrate cultures from around the world.
Participants will visit a variety of stalls representing different countries and regions, enjoy bilingual storytelling, and take part in hands-on craft and interactive activities, including a lively Cultural Costume Parade. Children and families are encouraged to dress in traditional attire from their own culture, with additional costumes available from the Toy Library collection.
Library staff will also host a world cultures quiz, encouraging learning through play, and participants can enjoy a selection of multicultural snacks. The event promotes cultural understanding, inclusion, and awareness while highlighting the library as a welcoming community space for all.
