Hardy Gully Nature Plus Interpretive Park Walk
Enjoy a Parks Victoria volunteer-led short walk in the stunning Dandenong Ranges.
Join this volunteer-led interpretive nature walk through a fantastic temperate rainforest of spectacular Mountain Ash trees, lush tree ferns and much more. Listen for the call of the lyrebird -you might even be lucky enough to spot one along the way!
Learn about the native flora and fauna and the cultural history of Sherbrooke Forest. This approximately 1 kilometre easy walk commences from the Parks Victoria Rangers station and takes you along the beautiful Hardy Gully Nature Walk and first section of the Lyrebird Walk.
Toilet facilities are available. Please bring a water bottle, closed footwear and appropriate clothing for all weather conditions.
Accessibility: A Parks Victoria Trailrider all-terrain wheelchair can be reserved from Grants Picnic Ground for those with limited mobility. It is free for hire and bookings must be made in advance.
