Monday, Feb 9, 2026 from 12 pm to 2 pm ACDT
Overview

A fun and creative 5-week pottery course designed to nurture connection and wellbeing through clay.

This course offers more than pottery skills. Slow down, reconnect and celebrate each other’s wisdom, in a warm and welcoming space. Where it is safe to explore your creativity, mistakes are seen as opportunities and perfection is not the goal.

Join Saskia, a Registered Nurse and Midwife with 25 plus years of experience supporting families, carers and community professionals.

Dates: Monday 9 February to 16 March 2026 - excludes 9 March public holiday

What’s Included:

  • Foundations of hand-building with clay (slab, pinch, coil, sculpture and decorate)
  • Weekly guided projects and space for your own creative ideas
  • A supportive environment for beginners and experienced makers
  • All materials, tools, clay, glazing and firing included
  • Small group size - spaces limited to 8 to 10.

Who It’s For:

  • Ages 14 plus welcome - under 6 months accompanied by an adult, creche is not available.

Why This Course?

As someone who understands the challenges of work–life balance and the emotional load carried by parents, carers and community workers, Saskia offers this course as a way of giving back to the community. This course brings an opportunity to expand your comfort zone and embrace the Wabi Sabi way; finding beauty in life’s mess, imperfection and constant change.

This course is delivered in partnership between Being with Saskia and City of Tea Tree Gully.
