About this event

  • 1 hour 30 minutes

Whether you are new to the gym or have a regular workout sorted, we want to create a safe space to enjoy movement together. This monthly session will provide an open opportunity to learn new things, share what works for you, and get to know other trans masc people who like working out.

We are partnering with the coaches at T Generation Gym to provide a group instructed session from 12:00pm- 1:00pm, followed by open gym from 1:00pm- 1:30pm. This month's group session will focus on legs!

T Generation Gym is a trans led space based in Coburg North. You can read about T Generation on their website.

Building muscle, getting fit, or just moving your body can all be empowering parts of gender affirmation. But all too often gyms do not feel accessible for trans and non-binary folks. So we want to help you get started with a gym routine, and provide a fun place to workout together. Come and work out with other trans masc people in a relaxed inclusive gym setting.

Cost: $5-20 depending on what you can afford.

Getting there: Plenty of parking nearby, tram 19 to Coburg North and the Upfield train line are within a 10 minute walk.

Capacity: Due to covid risk the gym capacity at any one time is 15 people.

Legals: All attendees will need to sign a waiver and complete a simple medical screening online before the session. We will contact you with the link once you register.

We are a Melbourne based support group for trans masculine people, including people who are non-binary and those who are questioning or exploring their gender.

We meet up to support each other and build resilience through sharing personal experiences of trans life.
