Growth Capital Forum will return to the Ivy Ballroom, Sydney, Monday, 2 March.
The growth sector has consistently proven to be the most active area of private equity investing in Australia and New Zealand.
Themes for this seventh annual event will include defence sector investment opportunities, the growing influence of artificial intelligence (AI) in software, the importance of cyber security across investment strategies, and maturing opportunities in the energy transition.
The event will include segments on emerging managers and investment strategies; branding and private equity; outsourced services for private capital fund managers; and credit strategies for deals and growing investee companies.
Case studies of successful growth investments, from investor and management viewpoints will also be included.
Speakers confirmed so far include Jacob Wan der Wiel of global private capital firm EQT; Steve Baxter of defence sector investment firm Beaten Zone Ventures; Adam Barty of AI consultancy Revium, Richard Whiteoak of investment firm Whiteoak; entrepreneurship through acquisition investor Pete Seligman; Aiden Rohde of the Clean Energy Finance Corporation and Charlie Rose of branding agency Principals.
