Event description

This six-hour 'Growing Your Business in the Disability Sector' workshop(including a catered networking lunch) will cover two distinct areas of business building for your disability sector business.

Customer Connect

A workshop to help you find and connect to your new customers

The morning's section of the workshop is for small business owners who are looking to understand their new customer markets, how to reach them and how to stand out from the crowd. The basics of marketing are covered and the attendees will be researching and reviewing their product and services during the workshop.

Costs and Future Proofing

A workshop about the cost of providing value to customer and diversifying revenue streams

The afternoon's section of the workshop has been created for small business owners who are trying to make the numbers stack in their NDIS Service Provider business model. Information is created for business owners who want to understand what it costs to deliver products and services to the NDIS market and how to diversify revenue streams to create a sustainable business. Attendees will leave the workshop understanding how to determine; what they need to earn to live comfortably in life, how much time they want to spend in their business and what their hourly rate needs to be to achieve that goal. Cost of product and services will then be explored to ascertain the viability of their business model.

The Department of Industry's (NSW) Business Connect 'Growing Your Disability Sector Business'workshop will give you the tools to help you attract more clients and to determine how you will evaluate your costs and value to determine your prices.

As a Disability Sector business in NSW you are also eligible for FULLY SUBSIDISED ongoing support through the NSW Government's Business Connect program. YOU MUST FOLLOW this link AND REGISTER with Business Connect if you wish to access this workshop at no cost.
