Growing Food for Wildlife Project- Annangrove working bees

Want to help out your local wildlife and ecosystem? Or maybe you want to learn how to care for a native garden? Interested to know why certain animals like your property? Or maybe you just wanted to know what you could do to make a difference in the lives of animals and humans alike?

Come along to our Annangrove Growing Food for Wildlife Project (GFWP) working bees and helps us grow food for sick, injured, and orphaned wildlife in the care of local wildlife rescue groups! All the native plants/food harvested goes to wildlife carers in local wildlife rescue groups such as Sydney Wildlife and WIRES!

A typical working bee may involve a short talk on an interesting topic, sustainable weed control, harvesting foliage for rescued wildlife, planting tasty native plants for the local wildlife in the area and a social lunch at the end of the event to connect and ask questions!"

Working bees at our Annangrove project site will be run on the below dates. Please save the dates and note bookings will open one month prior to the event date.
