About this event

    Green cleaning describes eco-friendly cleaning procedures or products that are used and created with the environment in mind.

    Join us at Menai Library for this hands-on Green Cleaning workshop, conducted by Sustainability Educator Margaret Mossakowska. During the two-hour session, you’ll learn how to make your own natural, homemade cleaning products and will make a washing powder to take home.

    Avoid harmful chemicals and use natural ingredients to make your home clean and green. Most of these ingredients are already in your pantry - all you need to learn is how to use them!

    This event is in collaboation with Sutherland Shire Libraries and Council Waste Services.

    Please be aware of the following:

    • You must be a Sutherland Shire resident to attend

    • Bookings are essential (each person needs a ticket)

    • All participants will receive recipes for the cleaning products demonstrated in the workshop
