Event description

Description

Did you know nearly 4 million Australians ride a bicycle each week and there are currently over 100,000 annual tourism visitors to North East Victoria who cycle? It is no surprise that cycling visitation contributes approximately $49.9 million in direct expenditure to North East Victoria and this number is predicted to grow!

The Great Victorian Rail Trail (GVRT) winds between the small bush townships of Tallarook and Mansfield in the foothills of the Victorian Alps. If you are interested in how your business can benefit from this valuable asset then this FREE workshop will provide an opportunity to find out more about cycle tourism, talk through ideas, connect with other likeminded operators and help your business become more appealing to our two wheeled visitors.

It will help cyclists using the trail have a truly memorable stay which in turn will encourage them to re-visit and tell their cycling friends to book a trip.

Businesses from Mansfield, Murrindindi and Mitchell Shire along the GVRT route are encouraged to attend.
