The Great South West Dairy Awards are back in 2024! Nominations are in and the rigorous judging process is underway. Each awards year the winners are announced at an Awards Gala Evening. It’s all about recognising and celebrating those in the South-west Victorian dairy industry who are excelling. It is also a great opportunity to connect with others and showcase how great our region’s dairy industry is.

The Great South West Dairy Awards return this year at the Carmichael Room, City Memorial Bowls Club, Warrnambool.

Now in their 16th year, the Awards have a proud history of recognising and celebrating the achievements of the region’s dairy farmers.

Excitingly, this year WestVic Dairy will also be celebrating its 30th anniversary.

The Dairy Farm Business Management Award the premier Award of the evening, combining three previous categories.vThis award is presented along with the other Awards on the night.

Each year the Awards successfully:

• Increase awareness of the significant role the dairy industry has in Western Victoria.

• Demonstrate best practice farming in action.

• Boost the morale of the dairy industry and dairy communities in western Victoria.

• Provide an opportunity for people in the dairy industry to get together to network and socialise.

The dress code for the Awards Gala Evening is semi-formal.

Make sure you take advantage of early bird tickets sales that are open until 11.59pm Sunday 21 April.

General Admission tickets will then be available until the 11.59pm Sunday 5 May.
